High Brockholme Barns – A Dreamy New North Yorkshire Wedding Venue

When I see an enquiry come through for a venue renowned for being a blank canvas, I know I’m in for a treat. My style truly thrives in transforming an empty space into a beautiful woodland fairytale, so you can imagine my excitement when a brand-new venue was added to the mix—High Brockholme Barns.

Opening its doors in Summer 2024, I had my first booking there that autumn, and let me tell you—it’s every bit as stunning as it looks online (and on their Instagram, where I’d already been swooning over it).

First Impressions of High Brockholme Barns

For this particular wedding, I provided my Adeline Backdrop paired with my To the Moon & Back neon sign. It started as a cake backdrop before doubling up for the champagne tower, proving once again how versatile a well-placed feature can be. And in return? I got some of my coolest photos of the year, courtesy of the incredibly talented Lauren Stacey Photography (you’ll find a few of her shots below—any others in this blog are just my own phone snaps!).

It was a relatively small setup for me, but honestly, I was just thrilled to have an excuse to visit. And now that I have? My head is buzzing with ideas on how my decor could work here. The venue already has so many gorgeous details—bare brick walls, anthracite-framed doors and mezzanine, wood-cladded walls, and the most luxurious chandeliers (yes, plural!). The whole place gives off that effortlessly luxe, rustic vibe that aligns perfectly with the inspiration behind my designs.
